The Domaine

La Colombarié is a small estate nestled in the Tarn’s sunny countryside, south-west France. Surrounded by medieval fortified villages, this land has been worked for 4 generations, and has just been revived. Heir of the four-acres family estate, Thierry is renewing the cultivation of Simples: wild juniper is already thriving, while lavender, everlasting, rosemary and St John’s wort are settling in beautifully. Domaine La Colombarié has always used integrated agriculture and received its official organic certification by ECOCERT in 2012.

Just as all plants used in the products are grown exclusively on the Domaine, the making of every macerated oil is also crafted on-site. The plants are handpicked, covered with Emile Noël premium organic olive oil and set in the sun to macerate. While La Colombarié cicadas are singing in the background, the oil is slowly infused with the plant’s active constituents. This gentle process allows for a very low level of allergens, to create potent health and beauty oils as soft as floral waters.
